Inspection of census returns has established the existence of a further child, Isabella, of the marriage of Joseph(1) and Emma Bright. His nine children from this marrige were: Ann b. Barley C1846; Isabella b. Standon C1849; Joseph(2) b. Ware 1850-1897; Solomon b. Ware 1851; Samuel(1) b. Cheshunt 1853-1919; Walter* b. C1860; Keziah* b. C1863; Arthur* b. C1865; Moses* b. Edmonton 1867-1949. At present, it is believed that the elder two daughters did not survive to maturity. Emma died in 1868 and the children marked with an * emigrated to New Zealand with their father and step mother, Mary Ann Dutton, in 1874. The nine children from the second marriage were: Daniel b. Edmonton1871-1871; Florence b. Edmonton 1873-1911; Cordelia b. Duenedin1874-1897; Cornelius b. Dunedin 1877; Ernest b. Dunedin1878-1967; Evangeline b. Dunedin1880; Henry b. 1882-1978; Emalene b. Dunedin1885; Elizabeth b. Dunedin 1889-1987.
