This Indenture made the first day of January One thousand nine hundred and eleven Between THE LONDON AND WESTMINSTER BANK LIMITED in Liquidation (hereinafter called "the Westminster Bank") of the first part ALFRED MAYO HAWTHORN and THOMAS JAMES RUSSELL both of No, 41 Lothbury in the City of London Bank Managers the Liquidators of the Westminster Bank (hereinafter called "the Liquidators") of the second part and THE COUNTY AND WESTMINSTER BANK LIMITED (hereinafter called "the London County Bank") of the third part

WHEREAS these presents are supplemental to an indenture (hereinafter called "the mortgage") dated the Seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and three and made between John Edward Ford of the first part Henry Kerby of the second part The Metropolitan Brick Company & Builders Supply Association Limited of the third part and the Westminster Bank of the fourth part being a transfer of mortgage of certain freehold hereditments situate at Devonshire Hill (formerly Clay Hill) Tottenham in the County of Middlesex a Memorial whereof was registered in the Land Registry Middlesex Deeds Department on the 8th. October 1903 B 28 No. 815 for securing the payment to the Westminster Bank of the principal sum of Twelve thousand and four hundred pounds and interest as therein mentioned

AND WHEREAS the sum of Twelve thousand pounds four hundred pounds and two pounds fifteen shillings and two pence and no more remains owing to Westminster Bank on the security of the mortgage together with interest from the Thirty first day of December 1907 last

AND WHEREAS for the purpose and with the object of effecting an agreed amalgamation of the undertakings of the Westminster Bank and of the County Banking Company under the combined title of the London County and Westminster Bank Limited a Special Resolution of the Westminster Bank was duly passed and confirmed at Extraordinary General Meetings thereof convened and held at its registered office on the Sixth and Twenty- fourth days of August One thousand nine hundred and nine for winding up the Westminster Bank and appointing the Liquidators for the purposes of such winding up and of carrying the said amalgamation into effect.

AND WHEREAS it is a term of the said amalgamation that the whole of the assets and securities of or belonging to the Westminster Bank and forming part of its undertaking shall be transferred to and vested in the London County Bank

THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that in pursuance and part performance of the said amalgamation and in consideration of the premises the Westminster Bank as mortgagees do hereby assign and the Liquidators as trustees do hereby assign and confirm unto the London County Bank

ALL THAT the said principal sum of Twelve thousand four hundred and two pounds fifteen shillings and two pence remaining owing on the security of the mortgage as aforesaid and the interest now due and henceforth to become due for the same and for the full benefit of all securities for the same

TO HOLD the same unto the London County Bank absolutely

AND THIS INDENTURE ALSO WITNESSETH that in further pursuance and part performance of the said amalgamation and for the consideration aforesaid the Westminster Bank as mortgagees do hereby grant and convey and the Liquidators as trustees do hereby grant convey and confirm unto the London County Bank and its assigns

ALL AND SINGULAR the freehold hereditments granted or assured by the mortgage (other than and except two pieces of land distinguished as plots 48 and 49 recently conveyed to Thomas Peter Green) or which or now by any means vested in the Westminster Bank subject to redemption by virtue of the mortgage

TO HOLD the same unto and to the use of the London County Bank and its assigns subject to such right or equity of redemption as the same premises are now subject to by virtue of the mortgage on payment to the London County Bank or its assigns of the said sum of Twelve thousand pounds four hundred and two pounds fifteen shillings and two pence and the interest now due and henceforth to become due for the same
