This Indenture made the fifteenth day of May One thousand nine hundred and twelve Between The London County and Westminster Bank Limited whose registered office is at 41 Lothbury in the City of London (hereinafter called the "Vendors") of the one part and William John Jennings of Courtlands Courtfield Gardens West Ealing in the County of Middlesex Esquire and Herbert Edwin Hornby of Oldfield Ealing Road South Ealing in the same County Esquire (hereinafter called "the Purchasers") of the other part

Whereas by an Indenture of Mortgage dated the Twenty sixth day of March One thousand nine hundred and made between Henry Kerby of the one part and John Edward Ford of the other part the hereditments and premises hereinafter described and intended to be hereby conveyed were (with other hereditments) conveyed by the said Henry Kerby unto and to the use of the said John Edward Ford in fee simple subject to a proviso for the redemption of the said hereditments on payment by the said Henry Kerby to the said John Edward Ford of the sum of Fifteen Thousand pounds with interest thereon on the Twenty ninth day of September One thousand nine hundred

And whereas by an Indenture dated the Seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and three and made between the said John Edward Ford of the first part the said Henry Kerby of the second part the Metropolitan Brick Company and Builders Supply Association Limited of the third part and the London and Westminster Bank Limited of the fourth part after reciting the before recited Indenture of the Twenty sixth day of March One thousand nine hundred and reciting the sum of Twelve thousand five hundred pounds only remained due and owing to the said John Edward Ford on the security of the said Indenture of the Twenty sixth day of March One thousand nine hundred the said principal sum of Twelve thousand five hundred pounds was assigned to the said London and Westminster Bank Limited and the said hereditments were conveyed to the said London and Westminster Bank Limited in fee simple subject to the proviso for redemption thereof thereinafter contained

And whereas by an Indenture dated the First day of February One thousand nine hundred and eleven and made between the said London and Westminster Bank Limited in Liquidation of the first part Alfred Mayo Hawthorn and Thomas James Russell of the second part and the Vendors of the third part after reciting that Twelve thousand four hundred and two pounds fifteen shillings and twopence remained owing to the said London and Westminster Bank Limited on security of the hereinbefore recited Indenture on the Seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and three with interest from the Thirty first day of December One thousand nine hundred and seven the said principal sum of Twelve thousand four hundred and and two pounds fifteen shillings and two pence and the interest due and to become due for the same were assigned to the Vendors and the said hereditments were conveyed to the Vendors subject to the proviso for redemption contained in the hereinbefore recited Indenture of the Seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and three

And whereas the Vendors have agreed to sell the hereditments hereinafter described to the Purchasers at the price of Three thousand pounds

Now this Indenture witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of Three thousand pounds now paid by the Purchasers to the Vendors (the receipt whereof the Vendors hereby acknowledge) the Vendors as Mortgagees in exercise of the power of sale conferred by the Conveyancing and Law of Property Act 1881 and of all other powers (if any) them hereunto enabling convey unto the purchasers

All and singular those pieces or parcels of freehold land situate at Devonshire Hill (formerly Clay Hill) Tottenham in the County of Middlesex containing by estimation Thirty four acres or thereabouts together with the messuages premises and buildings erected thereon which said pieces or parcels of land are for the purposes of identification only and not of grant delineated in the plan hereunto annexed and thereon coloured pink

To hold the same unto and to the use of the Purchasers in fee simple as tenants in common freed and discharged from all principal money and interest secured by and all claims and demands under the hereinbefore recited Indenture of Mortgage or transfer by either of them

In witness whereof the Vendors have hereunto caused their common seal to be affixed and the Purchasers have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
